Mole Trapper Near Brentwood Nashville Franklin Murfreesboro
Any one who has ever had a mole problem knows the unbelievable devastation and destruction moles can cause to a home owners lawn and business owners property. It can even be more confusing trying to figure out what mole control method you should use and believe me there are hundreds of mole removal methods out on the market. The problem is that about 98% of these methods simply don’t work. What I am about to say has made our competitors very disgruntle and we have actually received spiteful e-mails from these disgruntle companies for writing this on our web-site.
Not All Mole Trapping Companies In Greater Nashville Are Alike
I worked for four companies before I started my own. During that time I witnessed some of the most obscured and senseless methods used to remove moles from a lawn. This page is dedicated to my clients and future clients a like having mole removal issues. There are a lot of good honest companies out there that do mole removal correctly and there are those companies that are dishonest and will lie and swindle you to just make a buck. I hope this information will help you weave out the good companies from the bad ones.
Poisons That Kill Moles ??
Companies will often use poisons to treat a lawn in order to attempt to remove moles from a lawn or will use a combination of poisons and traps to eradicate moles from a property. If poisons were truly effective, then why would you want to use traps in conjunction with poisons? The reason that companies practice this method is for the sole purpose of profit. The owner of the company will simply drive down to the local hardware store and buy the same poisons you probably yourself have used in vain and place a 75% to 100% mark up on the product and make profit.
Most people have the misconception that if something is poisonous it will be effective. Before I started my own business I worked for several other companies in the middle Tennessee area that used poisons and traps in combination. I would set up a trap and place a poisonous gel worm about two to four feet in the same mole tunnel system where the trap was located and it would never fail that time and time again the mole would bypass the poisonous treat and would get captured in the trap.
If the trap had not been in position the mole would have caused even more damage to the property leaving a wake of mole tunnels and mole mounds pushed up around the property. Another thing that companies will fail to mention is the fact that every time it rains, poisons what ever that may be will lose its potency through time which in turn makes it ineffective. Poisons kill indiscriminately and are also a danger to pets and small children. They are many cases to which pets and children have become ill or have even died do to eating freshly laid poisons.
Many pest control companies of course will down play the risk of such events ever possibly happening but if you will do a little research you will find otherwise. Does it make since to put your children and pets at risk? Does it make any since to use traps and poison in the same combination if the trap is able to prove better results than the poisons?
Moth Balls & Moles ??
Moth balls will not remove moles or have any effect at keeping moles away from a lawn under any circumstances. This is a myth! There are companies on you-tube claiming that this method works, which in fact it does not. There is absolutely no scientific proof this method works. If this method worked do you think that we would be in the mole removal business? Believe it or not, I know of a company in Nashville Tennessee that uses this method.
Mole Gassing & Water Pressure Tactics
The process of gassing tunnels is basically gas cartridges and lawn mower engine exhaust attachments. Companies will pump this gas into your lawn in the attempt of eradicating moles that are causing the damage. There are several problems with this method besides the obvious dangers of exploding gas fumes. The first problem is the fact that the soil actually absorbs the gases to quickly not to mention the enormous amounts of gasses that simply escape from the tunnels themselves which in turn means more cost to you.
Mole tunnel systems and mole mounds are so complex that a majority of the moles always find escape routes to avoid the dangerous gasses which in turn, making this method absolutely useless. Using water pressure tactics also are completely useless due to the fact that the water will travel down to the deepest sections of the mole chambers and settle while giving the mole the chance to escape to different portions of the tunnels. After all if this method worked you would be mole free every time it rained.
Moles & Grub Control Treatments
Companies that sell grub control treatments will often mislead you into believing that grub control treatments are a very effective method for mole removal. Grub control works for grub control and not for mole control. The problem with trying to use grub control treatments to remove moles is the fact that moles don’t just eat grubs. Moles eat a wide variety of different things. They eat different types of insects, worms and have even been known to eat small mice.
With all the different types of food sources that a mole can choose from, it is near impossible to get ride of them from just treating your lawn with a grub control treatment unless your lawn is insect free, worm free and rodent free. Isn’t it funny that the companies who are selling these treatments for mole control never seem to mention this fact.
Mole Control & Electronic or Vibrating Devices
There are hundreds of electronically and vibrating devices out on the market designed to keep moles from entering your lawn. A few of these are devices are ultra-sonic devices, pin-wheels and devices that emit a strange smell or odor. These devices will in fact scare or irritate the mole for about a day but the mole will quickly adapt and get use to feeling the vibration or smell and continue on doing what is was doing in the first place, damaging your lawn and feeding.
Mole Trapping is the only method that is guaranteed to work.
We finally get to my favorite part of the page, the method that works. After all the years in this industry I have tried just about everything there is on the market and the only thing that I have found that works is the use of mole traps. Mole trapping is not something one can master within a few weeks or months. Mole removal takes a lot of trial and era and years to master. Some clients have called me before telling me that they had used mole traps and had no success removing moles from there lawn. I always tell me clients mole trapping is like using a firearm.
Anyone can use a gun to shoot at a target but it does not mean that you will be able to actually hit the target and just because someone is able to shoot a gun does not mean they know how to properly handle it. You can set 50 mole traps in a lawn and not catch a single mole however if you no how and where to properly set them you will have success and this is something that I have mastered and that’s why Brentwood & Nashville Tennessee residents calls us for there mole removal problems. This method takes hard work and effort and good ole fashion know how.
